Here is just a snippet of what moms are saying about Tatum Rebelle and Total Mommy Fitness:
“I loved training with Tatum during my first pregnancy; and called her THE MINUTE I found out I was pregnant with number 2. I feel very safe in her prenatal care. She knows her stuff like no other, and is genuinely concerned for my prenatal progress and wellbeing. Each workout is tailored to exactly what my body needs that day. I walk away invigorated, educated and brimming with body confidence. I recommend her ecstatically to every pregnant girl I meet.” ~ Sam Noble, mother of 2
“Tatum gave me the exact kind of support that I needed as a new mother. She first helped me to build balance and strength. Then came the deeper training that gave me tone again! Tatum has an integrity and drive that inspires me, and that inspiration helps so much when we training together. She helped me within one of the most important transitions of my life! Now I have a new confidence in my body, and my ability to care for my body.” ~ Sally, mom of 1
“Working out consistently during my pregnancy made a world of difference in my mood and energy levels and made me stress less about the weight gain and other body changes. I knew I was still keeping my muscles working hard and staying strong and that was empowering for sure. It also has made my recovery from my c-section much easier and the goal of “getting back in shape” not seem like such a huge undertaking. I know I am not starting over from scratch and feel confident that I will see results faster once I get going again.
Total Mommy Fitness has been an incredible resource for me both during my pregnancy and after. I encourage all women to find a way to make fitness a part of your life, even during pregnancy, and having a support system that offers advice, encouragement and plans to follow is amazingly helpful. Total Mommy Fitness offers all of these things and gives you a little community of women who can relate to you and offer additional support and encouragement. While working out might be the last thing you want to do while pregnant, make it the first thing you do and everything else will seem a little easier!” ~ Melanie, mom of 2
“I am 41 yrs old and have had back to back pregnancies with c-sections. I was nervous, not only because of post c-section issues with working out- but also the potential issues with my body during a quick second pregnancy. Tatum has the wisdom and experience that has helped me safely work out with both scenarios. I could feel comfortable getting stronger without injuring myself. And Tatum has helped me keep my core strong during my 2nd pregnancy so I can easily bounce back when the baby is born.
Tatum works with your situation and pushes you to the next level safely. Most importantly, in my opinion- she keeps your body safe. With so many trainers out there, it’s important to work with someone who specializes in pregnancy- and Tatum knows her stuff. Working out with Tatum has made me realize how important exercise is during pregnancy (and post pregnancy). It is crucial! I wouldn’t be able to survive getting through a typical physical day with 4 small children if it weren’t for Tatum keeping me in shape.” ~ Shelley, mom of 4
“I’ve played soccer nearly all my life, and when I became pregnant for the first time, I knew I needed to stop playing contact sports, but I had no idea what kind of exercise would be safe for me. I started working with Tatum, who guided me through weight and cardio exercises that kept me fit but were appropriate during my pregnancy. She varied the workouts so that they never got boring, and she kept me motivated. Tatum is knowledgeable and fun, and more than two years later, I’m still working with her every week — and glad to know I have someone to trust when it’s time for baby No. 2!” ~ C.M., mom of 2
“When I got pregnant, I was about 8 pounds over my perfect weight and I was determined not to let pregnancy give me the excuse to gain too much weight making it hard to take off post pregnancy. I had read how working out throughout your pregnancy is not only great for mom, but great for the developing baby — brain and bone development and less likely to be overweight once they get older. I also read that it made delivery so much easier.
I had always been one to work out, and I tried to keep to working out 4-5 days/week during my pregnancy. At first it was really hard because I wasn’t sure what I could/couldn’t do at the gym and didn’t want to put the baby at risk, so that is why I went to Tatum. I worked out weekly throughout my pregnancy and she really helped me understand how to make simple adjustments to my regular routine to accommodate the growing belly. She also provided motivation to workout, which is often hard after a long day of work. Overall my pregnancy has been easy and I credit a lot of that to working out and staying in shape.” ~ Candace, mom of 2
“Training during my pregnancy was great for my mind, body and spirit. Tatum encouraged me to do things I didn’t think I could still do while pregnant and her workouts evolved as my body changed, so that I was able to stick to a fitness routine throughout my pregnancy. Having a fit body made post-pregnancy recovery a smooth transition as well.” ~ Lisa, mom of 1
“Tatum’s plan makes it happen. Several times something would come up and I may have to include my baby, but I still got my workout in. Life happens, and I love that I can include my oldest son. Not only am I benefiting, but I feel like I am setting a good example for him.
Now my son asks me when we’re going to workout again. He enjoys it and his physical activity foundation is being set at a young age. I just recently went back to work, and I feel great! I take a lot of pride in the fact that I am wearing some of the same clothes I wore before any of the babies came!” ~ Sara, mom of 3
“Tatum is amazing. I am an occupational therapist and am very critical about trainers. Not only does she know her “stuff” (excellent eye for body mechanics and limitations specific to each individual), she’s incredibly empathetic ~ a skill not easily acquired! Tatum brings love & integrity to all that she touches. If you have a chance to work with her, take it. She’s worth it!” ~ Alyson
“Tatum has been an absolutely phenomenal guide and support during my pregnancy. She has pushed me physically while always reminding me to listen to my body – as a result, I left each of our sessions energized and feeling great. She also makes herself available to answer questions as they arise and has continually provided valuable advice and information. She is a wonderful resource and a pleasure to work with!” ~ Kate
“I LOVED our grocery store trip!!!! You have gone above and beyond what I thought it would be like to work with a trainer. I’ve bragged about you to my friends!!! I plan to keep up the food log, that really helps!!!!!” ~ Emily
“I am in my 30th week of my 1st pregnancy and have been training with Tatum for about a year and a half. She is awesome! She is exactly the kind of trainer you want whether you are pregnant or not! She is an expert about fitness and nutrition and is continually seeking additional education through workshops, books, and research. She is encouraging and motivating! She helps me by always being positive and persuading me to exercise even on the days when I don’t really feel like it. She is constantly learning new exercises, which makes our workouts fun and never boring! Tatum is friendly and easy to work with! She is genuinely concerned about your health and how you are feeling. If you are looking for someone who is well trained, positive, motivating, and fun to help you lead a healthier lifestyle, I would recommend Tatum!” ~ Casey
“Working with Tatum has been a very rewarding experience. I find her to be a motivating and knowledgeable trainer who is also very considerate of my strengths and weaknesses. Her workouts are never boring but always fun and interesting. I came to Tatum a year after major surgery and I’ve gained a lot of strength in the time we’ve worked out. She even worked with me after I broke my leg. Tatum is professional and fun to hang out with.” ~ Dona
“Tatum is great!! I have always worked out and been a runner but Tatum opened my eyes to a whole new level of fitness. When I met Tatum I was a ‘cardio queen.’ Tatum helped me incorporate a healthy eating plan and weight lifting plan into my routine. I had always been afraid to lift weights for the reason that it would make me ‘bulk up.’ Tatum helped dismiss those fears in me and kept me motivated to learn more and push myself harder. She is a true inspiration. Tatum knows her stuff!!” ~ Ann
“I came to realize that exercise and physical health dramatically improved my overall quality of life. This being my third pregnancy in 3 years I knew more than ever that I needed to stay in shape. With the help of my personal trainer, Tatum, I was able to stay fit with safe exercises during my pregnancy. The results kept me motivated and inspired.” ~ Jenna
We sent out an anonymous survey to past clients and here is the heartwarming feedback we received!
“It feels good to lose weight and be in better shape. I am probably in the best shape I’ve been in since high school.”
“The nutritional awareness and knowing how to be healthy, not skinny, were the best take-aways, and it was definitely worth the investment.”
“Very professional, well educated and care about what they are doing.”
“Great trainers who will help you have a healthy pregnancy and life.”
“They come to your house, which ends up being a little cheaper because gym fees and paying a personal trainer gets expensive.”
“A lot more personal, I feel like they care about me.”
“They are extremely knowledgeable and, more well-rounded than other trainers.”
“Definitely value it as an investment. It’s all about getting healthy and not thin, and it has improved my life by teaching me to be more aware of my body.”
“They are concerned with the whole person, not just your workout. A personal trainer is not worth paying that kind of money if they aren’t specific to you; it’s generic, they teach you how to use machines.”
“They come to your home and understand where you are coming from.”
“I gained a friend, not just a trainer.”
“I wasn’t just the “9-10″, she gave me attention and more time if she thought I needed it and was concerned for me as someone you care about, not just a paying client.”
“It’s a tremendous asset that you don’t have to buy big equipment.”
“Since working with Total Mommy Fitness, I am continuing to workout at home, I realized I don’t have to work out for a whole hour at the gym. I just do exercises throughout the day at home whenever I have 10 free minutes.”
“It’s motivating because if I’m paying money, I’m going to stick with it and pay attention to what I eat.”
We have also trained many husbands, siblings, and grandparents over the years. Here is what one of them had to say!
“Although I have never been pregnant, I once looked it… I quit smoking on my birthday in Feb. (2 to 3 packs a day)…. By May I had gained 25 pounds even though I remained conscious of my diet and was in the gym 3 days a week. Tatum approached me one day and recognized, then complemented my dedication and offered to give me a free session. She explained some of the flaws in my workout she had noticed and offered some beneficial alternatives. I asked Tatum to train me for the month before I moved back to New Jersey. She proved very knowledgeable not only with new lifting options, but with diet suggestions as well. I continued the program Tatum had created for me through the summer. By September I was lifting twice the weight I had started with, lost 20 pounds and gained good lean muscle making my over all appearance the best it has ever been. I would recommend her to everyone.” – Greg
